Lately, many of us have been trying to get our futures laid out and ready to go. Now’s the opportunity to know where to find those resources and how to qualify–here’s a small lists of articles and links that I (and many artists, visual and performing) find very helpful.
Although competition for grants, residency programs, and funding in general for the arts can be tight–it doesn’t hurt to know your options and get your foot in the door. Learning the methods and tools to grant writing is key for understanding how to take advantage of opportunities. Money is out there, you just have to dig, work, and sweat for it.
Speaking of, one of the many perks of the New York Arts Program are the resources and workshops offered that teach young artists how to navigate life smoothly to a successful career. Here is a schedule of the upcoming workshops offered to students. Take note, these workshops are essential tools for young artists pursuing a career in the arts that would like further tools to support their endeavors into the art world.
