DIA: Beacon Visit

Our day trip to DIA: Beacon was not only a much-needed break from the hectic city life, but also a chance to see some of the most interesting art (in my opinion) to date. For me, the architecture and lighting of the building perfectly complimented the given exhibitions. Richard Serra, Robert Irwin, and Sol LeWitt were three of my favorites. Their use of line, space, and material were novel and provided for unique experiences and interactions throughout the museum. Around every corner the museum seemed to surprise you with something new that demanded your attention. Overall, it was one of the most interesting collections of contemporary art I have had the opportunity to see.
