–Chelsea City Bakery and Deli – Great place for cheap brunch food! You can get an order of challah French toast for $6 and it comes with four giant pieces of French toast. They also serve pancakes for about the same price and both of these dishes come with a side of bacon. Their chai lattes are also really good and come in vanilla, chocolate and spice chai flavors.
–2 Bros pizza – home to the $1 slice and it is delicious! This place is great for grabbing a quick bite (standing room only) or for taking to go.
–Tacos Bandito – I order out from this place all the time. It is inexpensive and it fills me right up! Just about all of their food is under $6 and I would really recommend their enchiladas.
–Xi’an Famous Foods – serves authentic (and spicy!) Chinese food. Among their offerings are noodles, lamb burgers, and dumplings. Dinner won’t cost you more than $10 and they have several locations throughout the city.
–Mamoun’s Falafel – these sandwiches start around $4 and they are seriously good. Although, you may have to wait in line to snag one of these delicious sandwiches!
–Organic Avenue – They have the best smoothie bowls and their homemade gluten free granola is so good. This is a great healthy option that costs around $10. Get the protein acai bowl they top it with a chocolate hazelnut spread!
–Vanessa’s Dumplings – The most expensive thing on the menu here is $7 and you can get a lot of things to try for a small amount of money. The dumplings at this place are anywhere from $2-$5 and I would recommend the fried pork and chive dumplings as well as the miso soup.
-Oat Meals – Great little place in The Village. They have several different kinds of oatmeal both savory and sweet. I personally love the Antioxidant, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. The cutest part is that they come in three different sizes: Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear.
